This is a very sad day, Les Paul ,has passed.Let's all bow our heads and remember him.A true treasure is gone.

Yeah, didn't see your post at the time. I knew within an hour or two of his passing. Frustrates the heck out of me (for very selfish reasons). One of my life goals was to see GOD (as I call him) in the flesh before his number came up and I completely blew it. I even had a plan for a trip up to NY ~3 years ago just to see him and had to cancel due to work.

Been listening to some old Les & Mary, Chester & Lester (a favorite) and others just to celebrate his accomplishments.

He did soooo much in his lifetime!!!

Gorecki, I have had ,a couple of ,the one that got away.We try to go and see that special someone and for what ever reason it does not happen.I was glad I got to see a few others before they left this earth.I think Les was at NAMM around 89 or so.I missed my chance to meet him.It is great to hear them play,but some of the stories they tell,is worth as much.
