I play a Fender US Vintage '62 Jazz Bass (reissue) through a Roland DB 500.
I also have an acoustic image head that I use for guitar (with a raezers edge cab). I've been thinking about getting a bass cab and using the AI for bass as well. Is anyone out there familiar with AI heads and bass? |

I recently picked up an Aguilar tube preamp (DB680) and an Aguilar cabinet! I've decided to take my bass playing up a notch. I'm using a carvin tube amp as my power source. Aguilar makes such great gear. Is anyone familiar with them? I also considered Eden and Markbass. |

Hi Corky,
Aguilars are nice; however, I sold the Aguilar, and am using a Glockenklang head (from Germany) and an AccuGroove cab. I am focusing on double bass quite a bit these days, and this combination works well for both bass and bass guitar. |
