Thanks I am taking my time with this one,It seems to be going pretty smooth. It will be awhile before this one is complete. As the blood pools under my right thumb nail from sanding and shaping,do I get some sort of builders badge or something.
Gorecki, I sent you a e-mail, again thanks for all your support and input.

I will have some more pic's soon the shaping is taking quite awhile.I am using a wood chisel and sandpaper,it is slower but I have more control.I can not just do a copy of what is out there,if I what what 's out there it would be cheaper to just buy one already made.Anyway I hope this one is more acceptable to the guitar community. One thing I can guarantee, is it will play well and sound good. The rest is just looks.

Actually, we had a pretty much zero sleep holiday and is still ongoing. So I don't think I'm going to get to do anything with the wood I have very soon because of these little guys. Five weeks old and are going to be monsters when they're grown up. Wink

For someone who barely has teeth..they bite hard!!! Confused Laughing

The wood is AWESOME! I just need to find time to work with it.

No boys, all girls, like I don't already have plenty of females in my house. Confused

Everyone around me want's me to get a dog for companionship.I mite get one next year. That's all I need another kid to raise.I'am becoming the home bound old man with a dog I guess. Not what I had planed for my later years .I am going to take some collage guitar classes ,too. This will get me out of the house and make new friends.I can do guitar set ups if someone in class needs it.Looking forward to it.I'll work on guitars and my dog can keep me company, warm my feet or maybe I'll teach him to fetch a beer.Hope everyone has a great holiday!!!!!

The pickup holes still need to be cleaned up ,but the pick guard took longer then I thought it would.I got tired so I will clean up the holes tomorrow. It's comming along good tho, alot more to do.
The young lady this is for came by yesterday and we worked on her guitar lesson for school. She is picking it up really fast and is going to be a very good guitarest. When the time comes I will hook her up with Mark.

Looking great Ron!

Yes the pups are growing like a weed! They've gained ~10 lbs each in the last five weeks! Crazy playful and full of life! Even had one just the other night pickup a soccer ball I was kicking around with her mouth and run off with it. Not a little ball, a full sized ball! To say the least, the ball won't hold air anymore. Confused
