Anybody out there using Frank Gambale's "ChopBuilder" DVD ?
I bought it yesterday - it is unbelievably cheesy production but
exercise seem to be rock-solid. He does not seem to advocate
any particular picking technique (correct me if I am wrong) so you
can do alternate picking or Jimmy Bruno. Most exercises are in
moderate tempo that remains more or less steady thruout the video.
My impression (after watching it once) was that those may be fairly
useful set of exercises for getiing better left-right synchronization,
ad few scale exercises and gaining stamina.

JT

PS.
and of course lets not forget amazing Yngwie on Youtube:

and even more amazing John Petrucci Wink

Oh goodness, I couldn't parallel that level of sarcasm if I tried! Laughing my buns off!

I want to laugh but at the same time, I don't. When Yngwie came on the scene, he had something, but twenty years later, it's the same something, no evolution, nothing moved forward!

Guess it could be worse...see Keith Richards thread. Laughing my buns off!

Hands OFF Keef! Man is practically a saint - he personally
cured millions of people suffering from chronic un-hipness
and variety of other diseases - dandruff, impotence and insomnia.
But seriously - Frank Gambale DVD seems like a good investement.
I was looking for some sort of guitar-aerobic thing for a while.

PS. "I am Your God, little boys!" deserves same recognition as
"I' Rick James, beyatch!"
