Lots of different amps, guitars etc. so tweaking is essential, however,

basically:

Volume 2 or 3
Base tone 5-7
mid tone 1 or none
treble 2 - 3
Bright switch either way normally off
Reverb ...

No first hand knowledge, but i ran accross this on another jazz forum.
