Hey Guys,
Speaking of arranging and with the holiday season at hand, here's a recording of my fingerstyle solo guitar arrangement for "The Christmas Song" by Mel Torme. It was one of my mom's favorites and a tune with really nice changes. This one is in the key of C and part of a solo guitar medley I like to perform. Originally I arranged it in E in another medley that included "Over the Rainbow" (same octave leap in the opening melody).
Any comments or questions, just fire away! Btw, this rendition can also be heard on a special holiday edition of VM's "Guitar Talk" series. To check it out, click here. There's a link provided to take you to the other pages in the series. I'll be announcing this soon via broadcast email and perhaps in another forum area. Enjoy!

I don't know much about classical style, but I thought heard Iberian influence in some of the phrasing. |
