So many players so little time.
Get get yourself Yahoo Music or some other service that allows you
unlimited downloads for a flat fee. And start using Pandora to explore
similar artists (pandora.com).
I like Jimmy Smith, Oscar Peterson, Kenny Burrell, Grant Green,
Keith Jarrett, Herbie Hancock, Miles, Coltrane and million others.
Recently I was listening to Medeski, Martin and Wood quite a bit.
And John Scofield. Couple days ago I listened to Louis Prima - not
really jazz but nice music to go with coffee for early morning drive.
Couple specific album recommendations:
Keith Jarret "Koln Concert"
John Abercrombie "Timeless"
Pat Metheny "Bright Size Life" |

Corky,
Have you visited the Suggested Recordings page at Vision Music? I created that feature for the specific purpose of sharing many of my all-time favorite recordings, and to hopefully cut down the mountain of potential choices out there. Beyond personal comments, the links for each artist and their CDs takes you directly to their listing at Amazon.com for additional information, reviews, etc. Hope you find the page helpful in building your collection. All for now...

The tracks are available individually at the iTunes store and I'm sure other
