Mark,
I hope you'll be able to find the time to post some of the recordings you've made from your treasure trove of original material. Being able to hear the various nuances, phrasing and feeling you put into the diverse melodies you've created would be like sitting in on a master class with the composer. Some of my personal favorites? "One Thing After Another" and the beautiful song you dedicated to your lovely wife, Janice..."Love Beyond Measure." Add these to "Deja Blous," your high energy tribute to the incomparable Henry Johnson (Thank you, Henry for your inspiring & informative post!), and let the class begin! |

Barbara,
Thanks for the kind words regarding my compositions. As many are aware, dedicating tunes to my wife and kids, colleagues, and friends has become a trademark for me over the years. This has been a particularly prolific time period for me as far as recording goes, and many of the tunes on the SS page (and others) are good to go. I'll make a point of getting some mp3 links up for forum members soon.
Henry Johnson? What can I say about such a brilliant artist who has been responsible more than anyone for encouraging me to document my work? I feel blessed to have him as a good friend, and before long there will be many here who understand how much he has to offer to us, musically, philosophically, and spiritually. All for now...
