Introduction A prelude to the lessons, outlining the mission for guitarists and bassists, plus an explanation of the rhythm track complete with chord voicings and the bass line.

Riffer Madness - Part One for Guitar. The first set of riffs in the series opens with choice moves by George Benson and Ronnie Foster, continuing with classic doublestops.

Riffer Madness - Part Two for Guitar. Funky syncopations and doublestops follow on the heels of the first segment, plus a blend of bebop with some unusual blues ideas.

Riffer Madness - Part Three for Guitar. Another pair of superb examples in the series, first a blend of bebop and blues, then some classic moves from two jazz guitar legends.

Riffer Madness - Part One for Bass. Different than the companion guitar version, this first part debuts with a blend of interval skips, blues, chromaticism, and bebop lines.

Riffer Madness - Part Two for Bass. Great moves borrowed from hot sax, guitar, and keyboard transcriptions in this highly sycopated follow-up to the above lesson edition.

Riffer Madness - Part Three for Bass. The third bass edition in the series features two great examples, one a combination of funk and blues, the other dynamic sliding octaves.
